If you’re searching for an exceptional Linux kernel distribution that will guarantee a steady and efficient desktop experience, look no further than XanMod. Not only does it incorporate new features and custom settings, but its real-time version is perfect for critical runtime applications like gaming eSports or streaming with ultra-low latency capabilities. Furthermore, XanMod works on all recent 64-bit versions of Debian and Ubuntu-based systems!

XanMod Linux Kernel 6.2.1 – Main Features

XanMod Linux Kernel 6.2.1 is an advanced kernel that offers superior performance and features for users. With its preemptive full tickless kernel running at 500Hz, the CPU Core Scheduler is finely tuned for optimal responsiveness and low system latency.

The Block Layer has a multi-threaded runqueue to ensure high I/O throughput. Additionally, caching, virtual memory manager, and CPUFreq governors have been improved for better performance.

The BBR TCP Congestion Control plus FQ-PIE Packet Scheduling and AQM Algorithm provide enhanced network control, while the ORC Unwinder allows for useful kernel stack traces with debuginfo support.

There is also a third-party patchset available with ZSTD kernel, initrd and modules support, full x86_64 FSGSBASE instructions, Clear Linux compatibility, CK’s Hrtimer Patchset, Wine/Proton Fsync support, PCIe ACS Override, BMQ Process Scheduler, Aufs and GCC graysky’s.

The Real-time Linux kernel (PREEMPT_RT) build is also available. Moreover, the Generic Kernel package is designed to be compatible with most Debian and Ubuntu-based distributions and is built on the latest GCC 10.2 and Binutils 2.35.

This kernel also comes with a GPLv2 license, allowing users to build it for any desired distribution or purpose. Thus, XanMod Linux Kernel 6.2.1 is a powerful and flexible kernel designed to give users superior performance, reliability, and control.
